Before 1901 there was a house here called the Kadous House but it was deolished in 1900. The present building was built by Mälareprovinsernas Enskilda Bank headoffice and is designed in Dutch style with a high gable.

The architect was Erik Josephson who also have designed the well know Grand Hotel in Saltjöbaden, the Djurgårds bridge etc. Today the house is used for offices and the Angolan Embassy.
