The House of the Nandi Family (Kalyani )

Rajat Kumar Nandi built this house after taking voluntary retirement from his service with the Agriculture Department in Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, when he came to settle at Kalyani with his parents and family consisting of his wife and one daughter. His younger brother - Tapas Kumar Nandi also took active part and contributed a lot to this family abode. This is one of the brightest examples of a family being successful in settling in a new place with the main objective of providing a peaceful life to the aged parents.
