HV School (The School of the Association of Friends of Textile Art) was established in 1874 with the goal of promoting Swedish handicraft traditions.
In 1918 the association purchased the handsome four-story building, which still houses HV School today. The building contains the schools workshops, classrooms and offices, as well as the association's textile studio, gallery and small retail shop.
