One of the story behind this temple is ,in the ancient time one cow's milk automatically drop down near JALA (small plants). The COWBOY see this phenomenon & he digged,then he seen one SHIVLING of Lord SHIVA .After that one TEMPLE is situated & The named derived from the word JALA(small accumulated plants), the JALESHWAR MAHADEV.
