This is Morden depot for the London Underground's Northern line which runs north from here to High Barnet or Edgware in north London. The depot is where most of the line's repair and maintenance work takes place and was opened in 1926 when the City & South London Railway (now part of the Northern Line) was extended from Clapham Common.
