St. Lawrence has been a premier high school in Kolkata for a long time. Known for its excellence in studies and discipline, it has produced students of highest merits who are now all over the world. Originally founded in Bowbazar, it moved to the present leafy campus in 1936. The school educates boys from classes 1 to 12 preparing them for Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations. The school has around 1,500 students.
