Koka Palace

We visited this place in the 1960th. It was said that it was one of Haile Selassie's palaces. We stopped there to have a swim a few times after having pic-nic down by Awash river. The road went across the dam itself in those days. I tried to visit this place again in 2008, but the whole dam area was fenced. I may have reached it by a road from Wonji shugar platation (which we also visited in 1964).
