The Paramount Theatre, now a part of the Classic Cinema theater chain in the Chicago area, recently celebrated its seventy-fifth year. It opened in 1931. It currently has five screens, the original main screen plus five additional screens that were added during renovation. They show current films as well as classic and/or "art" films.

  • My hubby, who is a HUGE "Jaws" fan, and I went to see "Jaws" here on September 22, 2006. THey were showing "Jaws" as the first film of their 75th Anniversary Film Festival. IT WAS AWESOME!
