The Mill was a Bleacher's, Dyer's & Finisher's,processing "Grey" cotton cloth pieces for the many "Converters" who bought and sold the fabric through their Manchester offices. In the 60's a hemming factory made up sheets & the workforce was around 300. The firm was asset-stripped and closed in 1967.
