Consisting of a depression below the summit of the Westliche Karwendelspitze, this is a strict Nature Reserve to protect alpine flora and fauna. The most notable species present here is the endangered Alpine Ptarmigan (Lagopus muta helvetica).

Please do not enter the area to avoid disturbance.
