El Tigre Tailings

The El Tigre tailings were deposited during the original production period from 1903 to 1938.
The tailings are a result of that 35 years of production from that early original mine.
The tonnage of the tailings is estimated to range between 750,000 to 800,000 tonnes.
It has been historically reported that the El Tigre Mine operated between 1903 and 1938 and recovered around 70 to 75 million ounces of silver at an average grade of 40 ounces per ton.
