De Tornaco Castle is situated in a beautiful English-style landscaped park. It features two different basse-cours.
The actual U-shaped 18th. century castle was detroyed in a fire in 1943 and was never rebuilt, so that only the outbuildings remain. It was situated north-west of these structures and the moat was converted into a fishpond.
The place was already used as a residence in the 14th. century. Victor de Tornaco de Beghein bought it in 1868 and it has remained in the family since then. Raymond de Tornaco left the building to his daughter Patricia, wife of Lionel de Hardy de Beaulieu.
