Opened 1966 as a Champion Spark Plug manufacturing facility. Closed 1990, then purchased by Chrysler in 1995 as a manufacturing location for the Dodge Viper (from 1995-2010 and 2012-2017). Also home of the Plymouth/Chrysler Prowler (1997, 1999-2002). After Viper production ceased, FCA turned the facility into the "Conner Center", a home for the company's historic vehicle collection. Most of the collection was out of place since the 2016 closing of the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills. Unfortunately this facility is not open to the public.
