Chalfont and Latimer station (The Chalfonts)Chalfont and Latimer station serves all three of the Chalfonts — Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter and Little Chalfont — as well as the village of Latimer. It is located in Little Chalfont. It opened as "Chalfont Road" with the new line on 8 July 1889 but changed to the present name from 1 November 1915.the station is a good place to alight if you want to go walking in the chilterns and the chess valley.
The station is located on the Metropolitan Line of the London Underground and the Aylesbury Line of the National Rail. The station is the terminus of a shuttle to Chesham: originally this was planned to be the main line and run to Tring, before the Metropolitan Railway decided to go to Amersham instead.
