The factory's history begins in 1945 when an artisan sewing workshop named “Vpered (Forward)” was set up in Vitebsk to produce bed clothes, military-type uniforms, men’s underwear.

In early 1950’s it was reformed in a ready-made garment manufacturing shop.

And in 1968 the Vitebsk ready-made garment factory was established.

After some regional sewing workshops were incorporated to the main production unit, the factory was transformed into the garment manufacturing group named “Vitebchanka” which later became one of the main uniform wear manufacturers.

Since 1984 and up to the present time the factory have a production area of 7702 m² and an administrative and office area of 2723 m².
