A 1915 Tudor Revival style English manor that was built for whiskey baron & lawyer, A.E. Tulk, who named the house after his only daughter, Rosemary.

It was also home to the 14th Lieutenant Governor of B.C., John William Fordham Johnson. From 1947, the house was owned by the Order of the convent of Our Lady of the Cenacle until 1996, where it was used as a retreat.

This property has full heritage designation status, being listed as an 'A' (top status) on the heritage register, and as such, is legally protected by the city's heritage by-law, the strongest form of heritage protection currently in the City of Vancouver.

This house was used in the television show Supernatural, Season 2, Episode 11, Playthings which aired the 18th of January 2007. It was called the Pierpont Inn, a creepy old mansion turned failing hotel. The entire episode revolves around this location.
