Variously described as "239 George Street"; "MLC Centre" or "Hitachi Tower/Building" - the building - owned by the ING Property Trust. The building is principally rented as a series of barristers' chambers; though MLC, Hitachi and a number of law firms also retain residence in the building.
The ground floor is home to a Merlo coffee shop that has the heavy patronage of building tenants.
The building also boasts a weather beacon on its roof that gives the current and forecast weather. It is often criticised for highlighting "It's currently raining heavily" when that much is apparent.
