one of Portland’s most beloved and important creative organizations. Home of Linda Austin
Dance, PWNW advances the contemporary performing arts in the Pacific NorthWest by creating and
performing works by our resident company, presenting the work of other local and visiting artists, and providing the region’s
creative community with an affordable space for rehearsals, workshops and public events.

Popular ongoing events include
--the twice-yearly Cabaret Boris & Natasha, a festive mix of dance, music, film & video, performance art and theatre, with
artists including the fabulously quirky Boris & Natasha Dancers, a constantly mutating all-male group
of non-trained dancers

--the Richard Foreman Mini-Festival held every August. Artists have 10 days to create snippets of performance based on the
online notebooks of avant garde writer/director Richard Foreman.

A community yoga class is taught Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings.
