A large shopping centre surrounded by warehouse retail such as Halfords and Matalan. The original craigavon shopping centre was built on and extended to create the current structure. The name Rushmere is the creation of buildings owners and is not related to local placenames or to the location which is on dry higher ground. To build the surronding warehouse retail previous rights of way were altered or revoked and making it impossible to cross the area on foot/bicycle without passing through the shopping centre.
