Cypress Lake (also called Cypress Swamp or The Swamp) is a micro habitat of south Louisiana. It is a very unique landmark of the University of Louisiana. A popular gathering place for UL students, the lake contains native fish, turtles, alligators, lilies, cypress trees and other native flora and fauna.
