Mahalakshmi Colony (Chennai(Madras))

Mahalakshmi Colony has been one of the oldest colonies in Thiruvanmiyur constructed by the Housing Board in Chennai. It was constructed in 1978 when there were only wheat fields all around and a few houses and of course the temple But not to forget it still stands strong enough.people have lived here for generations but now...it is being demolished block by block for a completly new colony which might become the landmark of this place.
