The Don Q Inn was opened in 1964 by a man named (appropriately enough) Don Quinn. He began to incorporate salvaged materials to the site in the 1970's, including a steeple from an 1872 church, a train station, and dentist's chairs. Today the inn is known for its theme rooms (lunar landing room, safari room, etc.).

The strangest part, however, is the Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter parked out front.
