Trinity Square.
Trinity square is the first meeting those who enter the Kremlin through Trinity gates. It's like a hall, a kind of porch - here is a general panoramic view of the architectural ensemble of the Kremlin. The square is small, trapezoidal, broad base facing the east. The ensemble includes the buildings from different historical eras. Architectural centerpiece is an ancient tower of Holy Trinity, built in the fifteenth century and received tiered pavilion completion in the XVII century. The northern side is formed by the facade of the Arsenal of the XVIII century, and the south - by the facade of the State Kremlin Palace, the mid-twentieth century. In the south of the square there is the Palace Street, connecting Trinity Square with another square of the Kremlin - the Imperial, or Palace Square.
