A big fun park with plenty for everyone. There are two parking lots. There used to be two distinct playgrounds on each side of the park, but they've since been merged into one playground, which is divided into what appears to be a "big kid" side and a "little kid" side. They each have a great share of tunnels, bridges, and swings. There are lots of benches for grandparents taking their children to the park on sunny days.

There are a few paths going throughout the park, but nothing to brag about. A small wading pool is in the south part of the park, but if you can read this, then you're probably too old to swim in it. There are some public restrooms—they usually smell if I recall correctly—and some picnic tables in the middle of the park. There is an interesting tree northeast of the playground into which you can climb completely. Up the hill to the east of the playground is a field good for soccer or baseball or whatever. This really is a very nice park.

  • Good description of the Park, although the box showing the limits of the Park should extend further to the south, all the way to Pine Street. I grew up near here, it was awesome back in the mid-sixties. I used to walk through the Park on the way home from school. One day somebody had smashed open the M&M candy dispenser in the snack area, and I helped myself to free M&M's. Man I'm evil, but they sure were tasty, cuz my parents never let us kids eat candy! lol
