This tiny exclave extends out beyond the village of Erenkoy/Kokkina. The boundaries are deliniated by military geographical considerations (so that Turkish forces control the heights around - and the approaches to - the village).

This piece of Turkish Cypriot territory is seperated from the rest of the TRNC by a few miles of Republic of Cyprus territory. This exclave has deep symbolic meaning to the Turkish Cypriot people in regards to what happened here in 1964. | ||||
