The Toulouse Space Centre covers about fifty acres in the area of Rangueil-Lespinet. Near the historic site of Montaudran (Aeropostale) is the center of a vast complex scientific and academic-oriented aerospace where there are particular schools (University Paul Sabatier, ISAE, ENAC, IAS, ..) Laboratories (CERT-ONERA, LAAS, CESR OMP (LEGOS, DTP), GRGS, CESBIO, ...) and aerospace companies (EADS Astrium, Spot Image, CLS-Argos Intespace, ...). Its tasks cover, with the exception of launchers and their launches, the essential tasks and technical assistance to scientists are the responsibility of CNES.
