This is the former location of C. R. Daniels Inc., a textile mill that manufactured cotton duck/canvas products. The mill was purchased in 1940 by C. R. Daniels and it served as their corporate headquarters and main manufacturing facility until it was extensively flooded in June 1972 by Tropical Storm Agnes, after which it remained vacant. Its remains were gutted by fire on September 17, 1977.

Several businesses currently occupy the property, including a mulch factory and a welding service.
