This is a good school to send your child to. The well rounded curriculum is executed, with a committed and qualified teaching staff, with English as the medium of instruction.
A relatively new institute, this school runs all classes upto the 10th standard. The principal, Nalini Sengupta, is a veteran and devotes all her innovative energy and time to this venture.

The school is conscious of protecting the ecology and runs an efficient mass transport in the form of buses on most major routes from Pune city. Private transport is discouraged and this helps the residents of Sus village with reduced incidence of visiting vehicles, saves fuel and drastically reduces pollution.

  • The school is affiliated to the ICSE Board and has classes from Kindergarten to Std 10. It has also received permission to start Junior College (Std 11 & 12)ISC, which has not been started. It also has a stream affiliated to NIOS Board. Vidya Valley is a co-ed school with about 700 students. It is a Day-Boarding school. All the children are provided breakfast and lunch.   • Just to put some perspective to the child's comments above. The school conducts a festival for Indian group songs. The judges, knowledgeable in music, are invited. They are not connected with the school. Generally a theme is suggested for the festival. The rest of the decisions are all made by the judges. The Vidya Valley school choir participates ONLY as an exhibition. We firmly believe that as the hosts we cannot be seen to be taking a prize! We also conduct a quiz competition for small children of Std.2. They just love it!! Our idea is to give children a platform so they can rejoice in their own achievements and experience the joy of doing something well. Our wish would be to remove the element of competition and ranking. However, they appear to be huge motivators for children and teachers. Maybe the child, Renuka's message above is a wake up call to us to be aware of the stresses caused by this element of competition. The school also conducts a festival for evironmental awareness for children of Stds. 5 & 6. This is a mixed group festival and children participate in a variety of activities. Children from various schools are grouped together. Everything is spontaneous and there is a huge element of fun with education.
