Population 108 (2006 census). Chamberlain is the only community between Regina and Saskatoon that Highway 11 (Louis Riel Trail) passes directly through rather than bypassing the community. This is due to the constricted location of the townsite between the rail line and the river valley, where the remaining communities along the Arm River are built across the rail line from the valley. Construction of a bypass would involve either two rail crossings or rerouting the railroad.
