viaduct (bridge construction style)
Add category

An old railway viaduct that was partially demolished in the 1960's. The railway continued on up through Furnace Bottom Valley almost as far as Mosley Green, serving a number of collieries along the way. Although the stone arches are still intact, the steel girder that crossed the road has been removed, along with the track.
