Owing to commercialization we lost a heritage structure here. The original building of the school (on the southern edge - adjacent to Mahatma Gandhi Road - was a stone building of colonial times - 1935. But about 4 years back it was demolished for a concrete, structure in the name of a shopping complex.

  • studied in the school from 1971 to 1976. really felt sad to hear that the colonial building was pulled down for a commercial mall. The building was a beautiful structure, which will be missed by all who have studied there.
  • I studied till grade 7 (1979-1986) and I have all my Marksheet from Balbharti ( KG - small building next to Rangmanch) to grade 8.
  • Its good to know that the old main building of G.H High school has been demolished and new building structure is coming up back in the play ground

  • I have also studied right from my KG and passed out in 1985, changes are good new and better structure comming up, but sale of part of the property for commericial gains, not fair.

  • The School, till the decade of '70's, this School had a place of esteem and emiknence in the eyes of the people.Emergence of craze for Primary and Secondary Education through the Medium of English Language has done colossal damage to the entire Society, and hence, this School also sufferred. Further Blow was of the Commercial approach taken by the Management of this School and they decided to sacrifice the Stone Building of the Colonial times - 1935, which was the 'Symbol' of Eminence for the School. I am proud to be Ex-Student of this School. I passed my S.S.C. in 1060. All my family members, even in the Second Generation also, are also ex-students of this school.

  • I am truly surprised that this school still exist. I attended this school till 11th standard (1965) and have fond memories of the years I spent there. Hope to visit this school on my next trip to India.
  • I am sorry to inform that Heritage structure of both G.H High School as well as Jadavji Jethabhai School have been demolished for the best reason known to present management of Borivali Eucation Society . I think its President can throw some more light on this.

I have very fond memories of this school, its teachers and students, friends etc. Some of my friends were Vinod Mehta, Mukund Muni, Fadke, Nirmala Negandhi, Hansa Shah, Dhanlaxmi, Leena etc. If some friends still know me, u can write.

  • I used to teach at the Seth GH High School 1949-50. My experience there was memorable. I remember some colleagues: Upadhyaya, Raval, Machchhar Banker,Patil, Pradhan and others. I have great regard for the School. The students were well disciplined and quite devoted to studies. R N Pathak was the Principal. I believe the School has seen many changes since. I live in Canada and visit India every two or three years. Hope to be there some day. Best of luck!
  • I have studied from 1st to 10th till 2005 when it was old building of our school and it was very beautiful. As I remember some of the things of school. The school bell area, The Temple deitys of Lord Ganesh, Mother Sarasvati and Lord Krishna, The iron statue at ground floor lobby, Rang Bavans wooden stage, in more detail school was having 3 parts in south towords MG Road i belive it was oldest building with wooden steps, in center Building Principles office and staff offices, I think the north building was comparatively newer than both and most reminding things were the 1 st floor lobby where we use to have fun with friends in 9th and 10th stranded. It was fortune to study at GH. But "In this world what we cant change is change." we have to accept it
