Owing to commercialisation we lost a heritage structure here. The original building of the school (on the southern edge - adjacent to Mahatma gandhi Road - was a stone building of colonial times - 1935. But about 4 years back it was demolished for a concrete, structure in the name of a shopping complex.

studied in the school from 1971 to 1976. really felt sad to hear that the colonial building was pulled down for a commercial mall. The building was a beautiful structure, which will be missed by all who have studied there.

I studied till grade 7 (1979-1986) and I have all my Marksheet from Balbharti ( KG - small building next to Rangmanch) to grade 8.

Its good to know that the old main building of G.H High school has been demolished and new building structure is coming up back in the play ground

I don't know if it was good or bad that old building was pulled down. We all had emotional attachment to that building. Studied between 1977 and 1987.

I have also studied right from my KG and passed out in 1985, changes are good new and better structure comming up, but sale of part of the property for commericial gains, not fair.
