Sri Navaladi Karuppanna Swamy Temple (Navaladian Kovil) is a famous Hindu Temple in Mohanur, Namakkal District, Tamilnadu. Mohanur is 75 kms from Rasipuram, 45 from Karur and 75 from Erode. The temple is located at the bank of river Cauvery. It is very popular temple and people from all over Tamilnadu used to come to this place. Particularly for 'MANIYAN & KANNANTHAI kootam' people from Kongu Vellala Gounder community, this is their 'kuladeivam'.

Prayer:
Karuppannaswami is also known as Navaladian and Pattamarathaian. People sacrifice sheep and cocks and offer it to Karuppannaswami. The midnight puja called 'Sathya Puja' is considered very important by the devotees. Here people do not simply come, pray and go. They submit their prayers to Lord Karuppannaswami in writing. Devotees throng the temple seeking solutions for burden of debt, family problems, incurable diseases and for a profitable cattle business and for child boon and suitable marriage alliances. They state all their grievances in a petition clearly as if submitting to an official and tie them in the Pattamaram tree in the temple, since they strongly believe that God will solve their problems.

Festivals:
During the Panguni month (March-April) Mariamman festival is grandly celebrated for 10 days. 8 Days Kaliamman festival follows then in Chithirai (April-May). The crowd of devotees will be huge during these festivals.
