West Ham United FC -- Boleyn Ground (Upton Park) (London)

The Boleyn Ground, better known as Upton Park is the main grounds for West Ham United FC, a successful premier league British football team from the area. In actual fact it is in East Ham, not West Ham. The ground was opened in 1904 and has a capacity of over 36,000.

There were plans to move West Ham to the Olympic Stadium after the games, until it was discovered that stadium would be even smaller. Ken Livingstone since chose another site which the club may move to in the future, selling the club for development.

See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Ham_United_F.C. for more information about the club
