The historic office and home of the British Prime Minister, currently Gordon Brown. The house is actually the official residence of the First Lord of the Treasury, although in modern times this office has always been held by the Prime Minister.

The apartments at number 11, which is officially the home of the Second Lord of the Treasury, traditionally the Chancellor of the Exchequer (finance minister).
