The site houses the firefighter's training center as well as the mechanical division of the City of Stamford Fire and Rescue Department. The training center is also a regional fire school of the State of Connecticut Fire Academy. The center includes propane fired tanker and spill props, a natural gas fired burn building, a five story training tower, and several other props as well as training classrooms.
