Roman bridge over the Tagus River, belonging to the Via de la Plata and located next to the mansions "Turmulus" located on a fortified Vettones. In the Middle Ages stood at one end of the bridge (al-Qunaytarat) a Templar castle and in the year 1969-70 was moved stone by stone to its present location so that is not drowned by the Alcantara Dam.
It was built in the early second century and was a strategic move of the Via de la Plata on the river Tajo. They made some small mistakes to rebuild one of its arches.
