Freeway golf course is an 18 hole public course in Bulleen. It is one of Melbourne's better public courses, after Yarra Bend Public Course. The back nine is known for it's elevated greens. Several improvements over the years have given the course a better layout, one feature being that you are less likely to shank a ball on to the freeway itself (This could ruin your day, as well as several mororists) with the improved layout.
Good drainage and greens. As of 08/2006 about $22.00 for 18 holes, $14,00 for nine. You can play nine from about 3.30pm on weekends. Watch out for snakes near the water around Summer! And drop bears year round.
