This 11.8 hectare parcel of land is owned by the University of Victoria. It is being reserved for future development of the University, but over recent years it has acted informally as a well known off leash dog park. Other current uses include soil storage and processing by the Facilities Management Department and a forest biology research area. The parcel mainly consists of open field, with remnants of a former orchard.
