PRR Cape May Branch (Abandoned)

 Upload a photo
This was the Pennsylvania Railroad's Cape May branch.

Prior to the inception of the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines, the shore lines in south Jersey were separate lines owned by the PRR and the Reading railroads which ran very close, if not parallel, to each other. Because of this, the two railroads eventually merged their shore lines into one system. The Reading's Cape May branch was used by the PSRL while the PRR's branch became redundant; it was subsequently abandoned in 1934.

Most of the right-of-way is still visible as a bike and power line trail.
