Formerly Jack Murdock Park, home of Tektronix (now Nautilus/Hewlett Packard.) Renamed "Tech Center" in the late 1990s when Tektronix moved to Beaverton, Pac-Trust Management Inc. bought the site and Hewlett Packard took over the main building. Retail and office development in the vicinity began early-mid 2000s.

    Tektronix did not move to Beaverton, because Tektronix started in Portland in 1946, moved its headquarters to Cedar Hills area of Portland (now near the NE corner of 217 and US 26) in 1951. It started building warehouse and manufacturing facilities in Beaverton in 1957 where its corporate headquarters moved in 1966. When Tektronix left Vancouver, that division returned to Beaverton.-John Addis, Beaverton, OR
