North American Stainless (NAS) is a fully integrated producer of stainless steel and is part of the Acerinox Group which consists of NAS (Kentucky, USA), Acerinox (Spain), Roldan (Spain), Columbus Stainless (South Africa), Bahru Stainless (Malaysia) and many other processing and commercial subsidiaries located all around the world. The Acerinox Group is historically one of the top 3 stainless producers in terms of worldwide production capacity and sales. NAS is the largest of the three fully integrated producers in the group. Bahru Stainless, with its inception in 2008, is currently a finishing facility with long term plans to become a fully integrated facility like the other facilities in the group.
