Estate home designed c. 1916 in the Georgian Revival style on 137 acres by Horace Trumbauer for Howard Crosby Brokaw {merchant, financier}. Brokaw served as president of Brokaw Brothers Clothing Co. and director of Harriman National Bank and Northern Insurance Co. Howard was also the brother of Irving Brokaw who lived at "Goose Point" and "Frost Mill Lodge" in Mill Neck. The 42 room home has 13 chimneys, 26 fireplaces, a farm complex designed by Alfred Hopkins, and formal landscaping by Olmsted from 1926-29. Brokaw also had a home in Manhattan at 984 Fifth Avenue.

The estate is now adaptively reused with alterations as the clubhouse for the Muttontown Golf and Country Club. The interior was a filming location for "The Emperor's Club" (2002). In 2015, a modern fabric entrance canopy was installed by M&M Awnings of Islandia.
