Dive boats, site-seeing charters, and other vessels that ply the south shore of Maui berth here. The Pacific Whale Foundation runs its whale-watching and dive boat cruises from its gift shop in the adjacent shopping mall. The best aquarium in the islands, the Maui Ocean Center, is also located in the mall. Harbor facilities include a haul-out for boat repairs and a Coast Guard office. The surf outside the breakwater is pretty decent (popular with the locals "in the know") and there's a couple of decent restaurants in the mall.
