Purchased in 2017 from Paul Lombardi, and Joe Lombardi. It was built as Riverwood Studios in 1980s and operated most recently (and leased by) Raleigh Studios, and independent studio rental company based in Hollywood. The current owner of Woodbury is AMC (American Movie Channel) Network, who has produced and shot "The Walking Dead" here since season 2.. The production occupies the entire studio.
