The Sri Agathiyar Gnana Peedham Thirukovil - the Abode of the Siddhas.. Welcome to the Sri Agathiyar Gnana Peedham Thirukovil established by Tavayogi Thangarasan Adigal on the instructions of Agathiyar. Here yoga is taught; prayers are held; and charity is done. Tavayogi celebrates Agathiyar's Jayanthi and Guru Puja annually during the Tamil month of Margazhi.This year the celebration will be held on 10th and 11th January 2012.The highlight of this festival is the lighting of 108 Yagam or fire pits by devotees.
