The Saheli Burj (inner subsidiary tombs) enclosures to the east and west of the jilaukhana are the tomb complexes of two other wives of Shah Jahan. The eastern Saheli Burj is marked as that belonging to Akbarabadi Mahal, according to the first written document drawn up by Thomas and William Daniel in 1789.
