Kukarhalli Lake (Mysuru/ಮೈಸೂರು/मैसूर)

Its Kukkarahalli Kere,,,,,,karanji lake is different....

Kukkarahalli lake it is in the green belt, I dont know still it is like before. One of the best place to have a relaxed evening with birds sound, boating and I think we also have crocodile in the lake ...I am missing this place

The best place to hangout in Mysore ...... the morning n evening walk is awesome ...

kukkarahalli lake is one of d best place to get peace of mind....
it is the place where our national poet kuvempu got inspiration...
we need to save it now...
if we wont take care of it there vil be no place for morning and evening walk for all in mysore which is popularly called as retired persons heaven..

Very good place for walking, bird watching. Sunset view is beautiful. Road sorrounding the lake is well maintained. As the mysore city is growing it is gradually becoming sevage tank!! Fresh water canals are blocked due to devolopement of new residential areas.
