'The Field' (Hendersonville, TN)

The former location of a Hendersonville middle school; closed in the early 1980's due to asbestos-related illnesses. It became a local spot for juvenile troublemakers, and was condemned in the late 80's, and eventually demolished in the late 90's to make way for a new post office. However, this plan has since been abandoned.

It was affectionately referred to as "The Terminator Building" by locals, due to its dilapidated, war-torn appearance similar to cities from the 1984 film, "The Terminator".
