Konkan Railway Station. This station was built to represent the temple town status of Udupi. This railway station serves as major descending point for tourists coming to Udupi, patients coming to Kasturba Medical College hospital and also the students coming to the Univeristy of Manipal. The railway station was dedicated to the Nation in 1993 by the then Prime Minister of India, Late Mr. P.V.Narasimha Rao, in presence of Konkan Railway's founder, Mr.George Fernandes. The Station is Actually in Indrali.
