The Park on the Lid is a great destination for the entire family.
With two softball fields (70' bases or less), four tennis courts with a fabulous view of downtown Seattle, a picnic shelter, 2 playground areas, public restrooms, 2 outdoor basketball courts and plenty of open space.
Most of it is right on top of the freeway.
The well groomed open areas invites kids of all ages to romp around, throw a Frisbee, fly a kite, or explore the children's play area, play some outdoor basketball or a game of softball.
In the Fall the Lid fields are used for soccer and other activities. In the Spring and Summer the Lid is home to softball, baseball, volleyball and everything else under the sun.
